Pioneer Day

On the 24th of July we went to the parade in Ogden. Aubrey liked the parade and loved collecting the candy they threw out. We then had a BBQ at Grandma and Grandpa Saunders, yummy! Of course dinner wouldn't have been complete without homemade icecream, my favorite. We finished the night with a spectacular firework show at Grandma Janna's :) It was a fun day!

Colorado

We went to visit Grandpa Mike in Colorado a few weeks ago. We had so much fun spending time together. It could have been a headache of a trip with us all staying in my dad's little house, but not only did we make it work, we had a good time. We had a day by day packed agenda. We were all hot and tired at the end of each day, but we went to some really fun places and had a lot of fun.
Places we went: White Fench Farms, Denver Zoo, grandpa's rec center, Red Rocks, Dinosaur Ridge, Water World, Elithes, Rocky Mountain Arsonal, Hammond Candy Factory, a Rockies game, and a place the kids made art.

Here we go again!!!

Well I hope I am ready for this, but ready or not baby number 2 is on the way! I am about 10 weeks right now and I am expecting on January 15! Hopefully we can get it here a little early so I don't have to spend my birthday in the hospital. :) We are excited, especially Aubrey. She tells me every day she wants to hold our baby and change it's diaper(well she refers to the baby as she). We have to tell her everyday that we don't know if it is a boy baby or a girl baby yet. We are excited to find out though!

Easter

We had a great Easter filled with exciting activities. Saturday was our annual Saunder's family Easter party. We ate pizza, played Family Feud, and had an Easter egg hunt. It was Aubrey's first hunt, and she loved it!
On Easter morning Aubrey awoke to find what the Easter bunny had brought her. She loved getting the candy and wanted to eat it but we told her she had to eat breakfast first. So of course then she wanted to color with her new princess Color Wonder, but we wouldn't let her do that either. We were just no fun, but she was able to color once we got to church.Aubrey looked beautiful in her new Easter dress with her hair all done, like a "princess" of course.
After church we went to Grandma and Grandpa Byers'. Aubrey was able to hunt for Easter eggs again all over their backyard. They also gave her an Easter basket full of stuff.
After Grandma and Grandpa Byers' we went to Grandma Janna's where we dyed Easter eggs. Aubrey once again just dropped the eggs in the dye as quickly as she could grab them. But I guess that had it so she had colorful eggs. Parker's eggs all turned green, and so did his hands.
We ended the day with one last egg hunt and some pictures with the family. We had a great Easter filled with fun and family!

Easter Eggs!!!

We went to Shane and Jessica's for a Family Night and dyed Easter eggs. Aubrey loved it, but mom and dad had a hard time because we didn't want her to make a big mess or get dye all over. She just kept picking up the eggs and dropping them in any open dye. After the eggs dried the kids put stickers on their eggs. It was a fun night!
